AREA OF FOCUS

Metabolic health, with provider oversight.

Energy, body composition and how your body handles food are shaped by many factors. Our providers look at your full picture, including any labs you share, before recommending a plan.

Who this is for

Adults who want provider oversight of their metabolic health, including weight, blood sugar and body composition, and who are open to sharing labs and history so a provider can see the full picture.

What your provider reviews

  • •Height, weight and how they’ve changed
  • •Blood sugar history, A1c if you have it, and any diabetes medications
  • •Personal or family history of thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, gallbladder disease or kidney disease
  • •Current medications, including oral birth control
  • •Pregnancy, plans to become pregnant, or breastfeeding

Labs your provider may ask for

A1c or fasting glucose, a lipid panel, kidney and liver function, and thyroid tests are common starting points. If you have recent results, you can upload them in your patient portal.

Protocols your provider may discuss

Semaglutide · Tirzepatide · Tesamorelin · MOTS-c. These are compounded medications, not FDA-approved, and not the same as any brand-name product. Your provider decides whether any is appropriate and how to start.

Working with your primary care doctor

Metabolic care works best when your doctors know about each other. We encourage you to tell your primary care doctor about any protocol you start.

Frequently asked questions
