Enclomiphene is an oral medication that acts on estrogen receptors in the brain to signal the body's own hormone production. At RxPepLab, compounded enclomiphene tablets are available only by prescription, after a licensed provider's review.
Enclomiphene citrate is one of the two forms (isomers) that make up clomiphene citrate. It is a selective estrogen receptor modulator: by blocking estrogen's feedback signal in the brain, it prompts the pituitary to release more luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which signal the testes to produce testosterone.
It has been studied in men with low testosterone caused by reduced signaling from the brain (secondary hypogonadism). Unlike testosterone therapy, it works through the body's own signaling rather than replacing testosterone directly.
Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved. It is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for an individual patient and has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality.
